Pajamas and Teddy Bear Donations Wanted Spirit Driven Mission

AND TEDDY BEARS WANTED!

Serena “Wisdom” Richardson has a Spirit-driven mission – will you join SWIHA in our efforts of this loving cause?

Mission:  PAJAMAS AND TEDDY BEAR DRIVE – to collect as many pajamas and teddy bears for children in need as possible.  Donation boxes are at SWIHA right next to the beautiful Christmas tree at the main entry!

Inspiration Behind the Mission:  In Wisdom’s all-time favorite movie ‘City of Angels,’ the angel would come to take the dying over into the next life and he always asked, “What did you like best?”  There is a particular scene in which a little girl who was the one crossing over, when he asked, “What did you like best?” she replied, “pajamas, the ones with feet.”

When I think of pajamas, especially the ones with feet (for children), I think of the warmth, security and comfort.  There are several children in this world that may never own a pair of pajamas or may possibly never have had the chance of holing a teddy bear.  With that in mind, I began my yearly mission during the holidays to collect “pajamas and teddy’s” for children who are less fortunate to provide them with that same warmth, comfort and security and when holding a teddy bear they can feel that they are never alone!  Will you join me in these efforts!?

I hope to be an angel in a child’s life and instead of crossing them over into the next life, help them to feel peace in this life. ~ Wisdom

ATTENTION ENERGY PRACTITIONERS:   Are you willing to donate one day of your life to help the “Energy for Life” Project?  The “Energy for Life” Project was born out of witnessing a close friend’s struggle with Stage iv Metastatic Breast Cancer.  Barb Holland saw needless suffering on her friend’s part because she either did not know what resources were available to her, she found out months down the road, or she didn’t have the money to take advantage of them.  This resulted in an extremely stressful situation for her; she was not able to calm down enough to create the peaceful mind set that she needed to heal.
