State of the art Yoga Studio and Yoga Teacher Training Facility Spirit of Yoga (SOY) is introducing its “Off The WallYoga Wall Classes.  The Yoga Wall uses specialized belts and harnesses that secure into a socket system in the wall.  These belts allow for a greater variety of Yoga Postures.  In this unique practice, gravity is utilized as a natural form of resistance, which can help students develop strong core muscles.

Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) 200

Southwest Institute of Healing Arts’ enriched 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training will deepen your initial yoga foundation through the principles of Unity Yoga.  The core of this training includes an introduction to classic yoga philosophy and primary understanding of the Yoga Sutras.  YTT 200 is designed to fully prepare you to take the Advanced Yoga program, either 600 or 800, which is customized to suit your authentic yoga practice, self-expression and connection to Spirit.

Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) 600

The 600-hour Yoga Teacher Training builds upon the 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Approved program. Whether you have completed the SWIHA Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) 200 Hour program, or you have completed a program elsewhere, we invite you to join us for our Advanced YTT.  In this program you will be able to pick and choose from our enriched, customized modules, and complete them at your leisure.  Alongside these useful modules, choose one primary specialty totaling 100 hours or beneficial electives, or one primary specialty totaling 200 hours!  Upon completion of your modules and chosen electives you will complete an Advanced YTT Practicum, supervised by a Master Yoga Instructor.

Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) 800
The 800-hour Yoga Teacher/Yoga Therapist Diploma Program builds upon the 600-hour Yoga Teacher Training, with 200 hours allocated to developing either one or two therapeutic modalities to serve clients one-on-one.  Associate Polarity Practitioner, Transformational Yoga Coaching or Yoga Nidra, are highly recommended specializations.  The 800-hour YTT program is also designed to align with other therapeutic specializations such as Aromatherapy, Hypnotherapy, Reiki, Life Coaching, Holistic Nutrition, Thai Massage, Reflexology, etc.  Students in the 800-hour program will become well versed in safety and entrepreneurship through First Aid and CPR Certification and business development courses.
