“A space for all who are interested in giving back, to meet and greet-organize, discuss, and volunteer your ideas and time.  Also known as “Annual Turkey Sammich Toss,” our main focus is to recycle food back into a community that is in need and much appreciates what we have to offer.  Group members can be as involved as they want or as their schedule permits.  Basically, we all keep our eyes and ears open for opportunities for food donations, as well as gather resources for outreach to local grocers and restaurants.  Depending on size and type of donation, we will then organize a mobile drop off event.  We drive to spots in the area to find people who could use a bite to eat.  Bringing to life the “one man’s trash…” cliche, with each loving offering, we are turning ripples into waves….” ~ RipplesIntoWaves
