Developmental Psychology – The Hero Within
Some people say that heroes are born and not made, that heroism is a matter of fate, but if heroes are made, who – or what – “makes” them? When you think about it, what HERO would you say you represent and why? What are your hero qualities?
In Southwest Institute of Healing Arts’ “Developmental Psychology – The Hero Within” course, learn and recognize the developmental stages and archetypes of clients’ growth and where emotional or physical injuries may have occurred. Here you will write an advertisement identifying qualities of a HERO. Exploration and overview of the HERO’s journey will be presented. Introduction to basic stages of psychological development per Freud, Erikson and Piaget will also be discussed.
